Me and my producer Julien were playing golf
And obnoxious for one day
And we were… tin off on the first hole
And both of our first couple of balls went straight into the woods
And as I usually do
And I… Julien was like Man! I aint nothing to beer came for it
It was kinda being just funny and
And we ordered up couple of beers and took a sip
And then this long
And the next thing you know we were just playing fun golf
Now, in that moment though, did you stop and go away?

I think wed better for like we have to write that idea
As a songwriter you listen hard when people talk
Because you never know someones gonna say something that could be your next songs expression
For a song idea
So we were like Dude, lets just go, write this down in a fun way
Lets crack up on a beer and write Beer cant fix
And so… on a sunny day in Los Angeles… we were just like
Listen to this all this situation where… just maybe going out with your buddies
And cracken up a cold beer
Maybe just take mind off a something for a second
Whether you just got broken up with
Or you and your wife plan this perfect beach trip to Cancn and then
And it rains every single day
What you gonna do?
Except, you are at the bar and be like
Can I get a Corona please?
And so that just… all this situations are like
You know youre fishing and… and nothing happening
And youre playing golf and youre terrible at it
Just kind of life hard the way to say
Just take life a little bit easier
And so when we wrote the song we was like
Call on John Party right now
And thats-thats…
So you knew?
Yeah, absolutely, yeah

I was like were get in jump-party on this song
Im such a gigantic fan of John
Like my wife likes Johns party better than she likes me
And so I was like well, at least, Ill get him on here
And thats kind of a cool thing about Country music to me
Is that when you write a song
Not every time its gonna work out
Like if other artists maybe like Man! Ive already done a colaboration record but I cant do honor
Or hey man! this isnt really my vibe
A lot of the time when you call somebody and you hear that passionate about it
They are just like When are you get at front of the microphone?
And I was like… John, I got this song called Nothing beer cant fix
I really want you to sing along with me
And I wa sending the song and he goes When do I sing?
And so, thats how easy sometimes it can be in our Genre
Because we all such good buddies and… and we always sending each others song
And always giving each others records when they come out
And… and when I and John put this vibe almost and I was like lets go
We just started doing it rehearsal and Im just so excited to start playing the song even before it comes out
